Metro 4, Inc. and Southeastern States Air Resource Managers, Inc. are non-profit corporations formed respectively by the local and state air pollution control agencies located in the southeastern states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. While this web site is designed primarily to serve the needs of the member agencies of Metro 4 and SESARM, we offer the information on our site for general public use as well.

Metro 4 and SESARM exist to support and supplement the work of our agencies. Air Quality is an important health and environmental issue in the Southeast. Our agencies, with support from their citizens and business communities, commit significant resources to address air quality problems within their jurisdictions and throughout our region. Air quality is improving across the Southeast and our agencies are constantly striving towards the goal of all citizens living in areas with healthy air.
