| Agenda Summary: |
This one-day course will cover VOC control process descriptions for controls such as absorbers, adsorbers, condensers, and oxidizers as well as regulations, and inspection procedures. There will be a pre-test at the start of the course. In the late morning, there will be a review and post-test. After lunch, there will be a field visit to The Dow Chemical.

| Target Audience: |
The course is intended for stationary source inspectors, permit writers, and other staff from the southeastern air pollution control agencies who are in need of control device-specific training. Unfilled course seats will be offered to agencies outside the Southeast. This course is available only to air pollution control agency personnel. |

| Ground Transportation: |
The hotel only has valet parking at $6 over-night for guests (unlimited in/out) and $10 per day for local attendees (each in/out). Taxi charges (one-way) from the airport to the hotel are about $25-30 plus tips. The hotel does operate a complimentary shuttle from the airport (7 am to 11 pm only). |

Attendance at all four of this series of courses is not required. You may register for any combination of courses that meets your agency’s needs.
Please arrive no later than 7:45 a.m. to give time for registration, distribution of materials, and a snack. The course will begin promptly at 8:00.
Safety equipment needed are sturdy, closed toe and heel shoes, steel-toed shoes recommended but not required, long pants and long sleeves. The following items can be provided by the facility: hard hat, safety glasses and gloves, hearing protection (ear plugs).
Breakfast, break refreshments, and an afternoon snack will be provided. Lunch will be on your own. |
