| Agenda Summary: |
The Southern Transportation and Air Quality Summit (STAQS 2009) is a workshop sponsored by the Federal Highway Administration and U.S. EPA. The purpose of the Summit is to bring together stakeholders from the transportation and air quality communities to discuss the current and upcoming regulatory environment, technologies, and current practices vital to the field of transportation and air quality management. The agenda will include a half-day transportation conformity primer, regulatory updates and requirements, climate change, case studies on conformity and climate change, and innovative and voluntary measures for gaining SIP and conformity credit.

Please note that a Motor Vehicle Emissions Simulator (MOVES) model training course will be offered the day following conclusion of the STAQS workshop. Separate registration for that course is necessary by clicking here.

Shuttle and taxi service from the airport to the hotel is estimated at $30-35 each way. Self-parking at the hotel is $15/day with unlimited in/out. |
| Registration Procedures: |
In addition to making your sleeping room reservation as noted above, please register for the STAQS workshop on this web site by Friday, July 17. Click on the sign-up button at the top of this page or the login/register button below. If you have previously registered on this site, log in and register. If this is your first visit to this site, you will first need to set up an ID and password and enter contact information. If you need assistance with the registration process, click here. After successfully completing the registration process, the system will generate an automated message to you confirming that your registration is complete. | Registration Fee: |
A registration fee of $100 will be required for attendance at the STAQS workshop and is due by Friday, August 14. This fee will cover your attendance at the MOVES training course if you choose to attend. Speakers attending solely to serve on panels and give presentations are not subject to this registration fee, as approved by Mike Roberts. To clarify, contact him as indicated below. Checks should be made payable to Southeastern States Air Resource Managers, Inc. (or “SESARM”) and should be mailed to SESARM at 526 Forest Pkwy Ste F, Forest Park, GA 30297-6140. Credit cards cannot be accepted. If an invoice is needed in order to expedite the registration fee payment, please contact John Hornback at SESARM. |

A moderate breakfast will be provided Wednesday morning along with daily break refreshments and snacks. Lunch and dinner will be on your own.
