Agenda Summary: This one-day course will cover baghouse design and operation including fabric collection mechanisms, filter media, instrumentation, and inspector safety. Following the classroom instruction, there will be an afternoon field visit to a nearby facility that utilizes a baghouse. Participants must bring a hard hat, safety shoes, and hearing/eye protection. Students will reconvene at the training location later in the afternoon for review and the post-test.

Target Audience: The course is intended for regulatory agency stationary source inspectors, permit writers, and other staff who are responsible for participating in the oversight of stack testing at regulated facilities and/or reviewing stack testing plans and reports.

Ground Transportation: Ground transportation is available, although the hotel is only about ½ mile from the Main Conference Room.

Miscellaneous Notes: Breakfast and refreshments and light snacks at the breaks will be provided. Lunch/dinner will be on your own.
Completion of this course requires taking a pre-test and post-test. A score of 70% or better on the post-test is required to earn a course certificate.
