| Agenda Summary: |
This is a shortened version of the normal APTI 444 course tailored to the requests of the host agency. Overview of regulatory enforcement tools. Violation documentation and evidence gathering. The role of the field inspector. Review of proper procedures for investigating an air pollution complaint, performing an odor survey, conducting an inspection, gathering evidence of an emission violation, and presenting that evidence effectively in formal hearings or court sessions. Case studies are a part of instruction.

Louisville Air Pollution Control District and Kentucky Division for Air Quality agency personnel. There will be no seats available in this course for any other agencies in the Southeast. |

Please arrive no later than 8:15 a.m. on the first day to give time for registration, distribution of materials, and a snack. The course will begin promptly at 8:30.
Breakfast, break refreshments, and an afternoon snack will be provided. Lunch will be on your own. |
