About SESARM

SESARM's purposes include: (1) being a forum for communicating common state agency concerns to U.S. EPA and other federal agencies; (2) coordinating with national air quality organizations to represent state agency interests; (3) developing and improving cooperative relationships between local, state, and federal governmental regulatory agencies; (4) fostering good communications between member agencies and local and federal partners; (5) planning and facilitating workshops and meetings to keep staff of member agencies updated on current issues in the region; (6) providing formal training courses at locations that best serve the member agencies; (7) conducting air quality research and analysis to support air quality management needs of the member agencies, and (8) receiving and disbursing funds to support education and training needs of the staff of SESARM agencies.
