Registration for Attendees: You may now register for the 2018 Region 4 Monitoring Workshop on this website. If you have set up a profile on our web site since 2014, your ID and PW should still be functional. Please register online by March 16.

Non-refundable policy for fee submittal: April 6. Please plan accordingly.

Registration Fee: The registration fee is $155.00 and covers meeting room costs, audio-visual equipment rental, snacks and refreshments, power connections, and Wi-Fi access. Please submit your registration fee payment by April 10. Checks should be made payable to “SESARM.” Please mail checks to SESARM, 205 Corporate Center Dr Ste D, Stockbridge GA 30281. You may also pay online by following prompts during the registration process. Metro 4/SESARM is required to pay fully for the workshop on April 10. We receive no funding to support this workshop except registration fees so it is vitally important that everyone pay by the prescribed April 10 deadline!


Workshop Dates and Location: The workshop begins Tuesday morning, April 17 and ends late afternoon Thursday, April 19, 2018. The workshop will be held at The Classic Center, 300 North Thomas Street, Athens, Georgia. The main workshop will be in the Olympia room for all three days. An agenda can be downloaded below. The final day is split up into three sections with an offsite session at the EPA SESD office at 980 College Station Road. Athens, Georgia 30605

Target Audience: The primary target audience for the workshop is Southeastern local, state, tribal, and federal air pollution control agency air monitoring program managers, supervisors, coordinators, key staff and contractors.

Workshop Agenda: The workshop is designed to provide information on federal monitoring requirements, monitoring data and trends, equipment performance, operation and maintenance, data quality, and other related topics. The workshop will include a combination of presentations and roundtable discussions. A draft workshop agenda is available below and will be finalized shortly before the beginning of the workshop. There are three concurrent but separate sessions scheduled for the last day,  April 19th 

1) At Classic Center, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, QAPP's session will convene in one side of the Olympia Room A.

2) At Classic Center, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, A Basic Regulations – Part 50 / 58 – Appendices A, D, & E will convene on the other side of Olympia Room. This is Olympia B. 

3) At SESD, 8:00-11:30 Vendor Presentations / Demonstrations

4) At SESD, 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, A PAMs session will convene
