While this web site is designed primarily to serve the needs of the member agencies of Metro 4 and SESARM, we offer the information on our site for general public use as well.

WELCOME TO NEW LOCAL AGENCY DIRECTOR IN MECKLENBURG COUNTY, NC
Leslie Rhodes has been selected to become the local agency director in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina (the Charlotte area) effective March 29, 2013. Leslie has worked for ten years in the Air Quality Division of Mecklenburg County’s Land Use and Environmental Services Agency (LUESA). She has served as the Program Manager of both the Mobile Sources Group and the Permitting and Enforcement Branch. In these capacities she has had the opportunity to work with regulated industry, businesses and community leaders to develop ways to improve air quality through regulatory compliance and local actions.
Leslie graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelors of Science degree in Chemistry Education. Before working for the county, she gained experience as a R&D chemist and later as a sales manager while employed by a manufacturer of laboratory instrumentation.
We welcome Leslie to this position and look forward to working with her.

Member agency staff wishing to register for training courses should now use EPA’s new Learning Management System (LMS) called “APTI-Learn.” This site allows you to do the following:
- Create a profile on the system.
- Access a recommended training curriculum by job description.
- See a course library and access self-instructional courses and class materials.
- View a calendar of scheduled training courses, webinars, and related events.
- Register for training for a scheduled course.
- File course evaluations on-line. · Print course completion certificates.
- View personal transcript (history of courses attended).
Please note that the Metro 4/SESARM registration system will still be used to register for various meetings and workshops but not for training courses. Your historic training information on the Metro 4/SESARM web site has been migrated to the new LMS. If you have any questions, please contact carson@metro4-sesarm.org.
