Air Protection Branch Chief Vacancy Announcement
The Georgia Environmental Protection Division is seeking a proven leader to manage the diverse and comprehensive statewide air regulatory programs in the State of Georgia. This position involves oversight of all air protection programs including permitting, compliance, monitoring, budget, contracts, state implementation planning and provides senior level advice on policy issues in the area of air quality.
The successful applicant will possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering or science from an accredited college or university and a minimum of six years of demonstrated performance managing highly technical professional level work in the area of air permitting, compliance and policy related to air quality. Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Georgia is a plus, though not required.
