The member agencies of Metro 4 and SESARM manage public education and outreach programs designed to increase environmental awareness and inform their citizenry of regulatory and programmatic initiatives. Education and outreach activities include holding public meetings and hearings, meeting with environmental and industry groups, providing services to the media, and presenting programs at conferences, fairs, schools, workshops, and other events.
