SESARM represents the eight southeastern state air pollution control agencies located in the area designated by the United States Environmental Protection Agency as Region 4. These states are:

• Georgia Environmental Protection Division, Air Protection Branch
• Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection, Division for Air Quality
• Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality, Air Division
• North Carolina Department of Environmental and Natural Resources, Division of Air Quality
• South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, Bureau of Air Quality
• Tennessee Department of Environmental and Conservation, Division of Air Pollution Control
