2024 EPA Region 4 Air Permitting Workshop

This is the registration page for the Region 4 Air Permitting Workshop.  This workshop is geared towards local and state agency permitting staff and those who oversee permitting programs.   There will be a virtual option for attending this workshop for additional agency permitting staff who cannot attend in person.  But in-person attendance is encouraged.

LOCATION: 

• The Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta Buckhead, 3285 Peachtree Rd. NE, Atlanta, GA 30305.

• Worshop meetings will be held in the Chastain Ballroom.

RESERVATIONS FOR OVERNIGHT LODGING:

• Hotel reservation deadline:  Wednesday, July 3, 2024
• Rooms are being held under "Metro Region 4 Permitting Workshop" room block for the nights of July 23-24 with checkout on July 25.
• The nightly sleeping room rate will be $173.00 plus tax per night.
• Group Rate is available 2 days Pre/Post Event Dates, based upon availability.

REGISTER ON THIS WEB SITE:

• Requested registration deadline:  Wednesday, July 10, 2024
• Log into the Metro 4/SESARM website: metro4-sesarm.org. If this is your first visit to the website, you will need to create a new profile before you can log in and register.  You will see an announcement for the “Region 4 Air Permitting Workshop” under the “Events” tab.
• Click on "Begin Registration" at the bottom of the registration page. In the drop-down box for "This registration is for," click "Myself." Click on "Save Registration." This should complete your registration.
• Registration Fee: There is a registration fee of $175.00 per attendee to cover all necessary meeting support costs.  Please pay this registration fee on-line by following the prompts and pay from the shopping cart.  If necessary to pay by check, please make checks payable to “SESARM” and mail them to Metro4/SESARM at 3122 Mahan Drive, Suite 801-287, Tallahassee, FL 32308.  You may bring your payment to the workshop.   
• After successfully completing your registration, you will see a confirmation on the screen. You will also receive an e-mail confirmation that your meeting registration is complete.
• Note:  EPA encourages in-person participation in the air permitting workshop to build relationships with EPA and other agencies.  But knowing in-person attendance is not possible for all, a virtual option is being planned.  A link for this virtual connection will be sent separate from this email. Virtual attendees DO NOT need to complete the website registration or pay the registration fee.

AGENDA:

An agenda will be posted when available.  Below is the general schedule:

• 12:00 p.m. through 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 23 – Day 1 - Air Permitting Workshop.
• 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 24 - Day 2 - Air Permitting Workshop. 
• 8:00 a.m. through 12:00 p.m. Thursday, July 25 – Day 3 - Air Permitting Workshop.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION:

• The hotel does not have an airport shuttle.
• The Buckhead MARTA station is 0.5 miles from the hotel.
• Overnight Self Parking is $25 Per Night Per Vehicle.
• Overnight Valet Parking is $45 Per Night Per vehicle.
• Daily Event Self Parking is $15 Per day and Daily Event Valet Parking is $25

MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION:

• Snacks and refreshments will be served throughout the meeting.  All meals are on your own.
• Suggested attire is business casual.
• Free Wi-Fi will be available in the meeting space and guest rooms.
